Historic Railway Restoration has been in the business of bringing history back to life for decades. Our desire is to help people better understand the past by bringing the streetcar and other historic rail and transportation equipment into operation again.

Historic Railway Restoration is a corporation, founded by father Tom, and son Vince Mendenhall.

Tom has spent over twenty-five years in the streetcar and locomotive industry. He has volunteered his time at various museums, working as a transportation subcontractor and finally starting his own streetcar restoration business.

Vince is responsible for customer relations and new project research. He has spent the last twenty years assisting Tom in the various projects and is an integral part of the business development team.

Historic Railway Restoration has developed a working relationship with the Carpenters Union Local 131 of Seattle, Washington. The highly skilled union has offered Historic Railway Restoration a variety of mechanical and carpentry skills that is unmatched throughout the country.

Our team strives to provide quality services in the streetcar and transportation industry with highest the integrity.

HRR is a Corporation, which was founded by Tom and Vince Mendenhall.
