Birney #324 for
The Helen Loggie Museum
Birney trolley #324 started life in Tacoma WA. It operated until 1938 until it was scraped and sold as a storage shed. Birney #324 was found and saved in 1987 by the Oregon Electric Historical Museum. HRR purchase the Birney in the early 2000's. HRR was contacted by Brad Parberry of The Helen Loggie Museum for use in an out door expanded display. HRR did a full cosmetic restoration on the trolley. Metal siding was repaired or replace. A new roof and new fir floor was installed. HRR was able to save all the original windows and sash. The interior of the trolley is assembled from 50% original wood and 50% new match mahoginy wood. HRR appreciate this opportunity to rebuild and save Birney #324
